My Flash is currently out of order, so I’ve switched over to Photoshop. My work may appear different for the unforeseeable future, but I felt like posting this to hopefully convince people not to unfollow me [that makes me sad] because I am still here [however fleeting]. Okay, hmm … let’s see … I’m going to go with a headcanon that has NOT come about from RPing, but simply something I have imagined myself that I haven’t ever mentioned in any RP. I imagine that Kirk was a strange little boy growing up and that he grew up in an orphanage for unknown reasons. He doesn’t know his parents and took the name of the elderly couple that adopted him in his early teens. They adopted him because he was intelligent, quiet, and obedient, so an easy child. He took their last name, Langstrom, because he had none of his own. His intelligence got him scholarships very easily. Being a strange child who never went outside, his whole life he’s had his head in a book and the orphanage had mostly books about animals, including bats. I think you can then assume how his college and adult life went from there. His elderly adoptive parents passed away within the same year of each other, also the year he started college. He took mostly online courses, and his scholarships paid for his amenities, but he was forced to live in the college dorms … where he met Francine. That’s as much as I’m saying, but that’s my headcanon backstory for this Kirk Langstrom. Thanks for asking!))

When I started RPing as this version of Kirk, my decision came from the idea of choosing someone no one else had or probably would RP as. I like being unique. So, I chose a random redesigned character from “The Batman.” My decision making was based on what character I liked but would be unique. I ended up choosing to RP as Kirk from the Batman after several long trials of other Batman characters from the same series including Ragdoll, Prank, Joker, as well as other characters from other series such as Shriek from Batman Beyond, the Venom symbiote from Spiderman, Zebra Man from the Batman comics, and Creeper from TNBA. After my stint with Creeper, I realized that I was playing all my characters in a very depressing manner. So, why not try and pick a character that can honestly portray depression? Why not the albino audiometrist with no social life and a love of nocturnal creatures? YERSH!

So, since this character does not have any back story, seeing as how he is in a total of 3 episodes [better than some of the one shots, I tell ya] I figured it didn’t matter how I played him because this version had no backstory, and when I ran into another albino character in the Twitter RPing world [Fright] that sealed the deal for what character I would RP as for the foreseeable future [I answer long because I don’t get that many asks, thank you!]))

Hm… I think Kirk’s favorite thing about Tumblr is the people who say nice things to him. He’s constantly thinking about how few people actually like him [with or without evidence] so when someone compliments him, he just blushes and smiles under his hands and, whether he admits it or not, that makes him really really happy [me too]))

((HOLY CRAP LOOK AT ALL THE MESSAGES. I feel, because of all the new messages, I have to mention that I was just popping in to check any of my faves and reblogs in between school assignments.

I hope to get ahead of things soonish and then scribble out more Kirks. Until then, I’m going to copy down all these messages and think of answers when I have a spare minute.
